For example jar's, takeaway container's, bottle's etc. What do you use them for?

Have a great evening all.

I reuse the takeaway containers, they're useful for storing food as supermarkets don't sell stuff in bachelor portions

Mostly just plastic tubs or takeaway containers. I’ll save those glass jars that some of the fancy deserts come in.

Smaller glass jars go to my mum for her homemade jam. Plastic takeaway boxes get used for storage until they break. Big celebration boxes are used for storing my homemade cakes and biscuits.

Everything else gets recycled if it can be.

Good Idea keeping cake's in them.

King's Crustacean

My 'peg-bag' is a huge domestos bottle that I cut a flap in and attached to my washing line.

Any bag, paper or plastic, that should be thrown away is used as a bin bag first , even if it's small.

I keep all food tubs for storage and freezing.

I'm not fussy on jars because they take up too much space or smash. So they are recycled.

I've got wellies and tights that are full of soil and growing herbs outside...

I cut the legs of a pair of fleed lined leggings that were styled on a Chinese Waif .... and turned them into leg warmers for the winter.

I have broken bricks in bags that I use for kettle bells.

Other stuff will come to me i'm sure.

I use jars for getting rid of food fat - sometimes I then use the fat to make seed balls for the birds.

Plastic tubs get reused for batch cooking, microwaving etc

We recycle as much as we can

Will the bird's eat any fat mixed with seeds?

Yer the same I even use toilet role tubes for planting sunflower seeds or sweet peas then the hole tube is planted and rots away empty milk bottles over the top for protection.

But we also don't buy as much from supermarkets as there is more plastic.

Like that cans now come in cardboard witch can be added to compost
