After a lifetime of biting them, I have finally managed to grow my nails! But oh my goodness:

A. I keep hurting myself with them

B. The amount of muck they pick up!

Is this normal?

A. Stop attaching razor blades to them, that should help.

B. Yes.

Oh and congratulations on growing your own nails!

Absolutely normal.

I loved having long fingernails but after scratching my newborn accidentally months ago I have since cut them off.

I do get nail envy when I see other people's!!

Congratulations OP, wish I could grow mine they are so weak and brittle, I've tried everything, the hardeners, the vitamins etc, but nothing seems to work.

Can’t deny long nails look lovely but ouch! I recently had to stop a lovely girl fingering me for this reason. I said I’m bringing me dremel next time. E

Dear JTV ..... If you are already lacerating your arse and packing shit under your nails make a sturdy effort not to lick your fingers or slice the crusts off my cucumber sandwiches
