I'm helping a friend redecorate. (She doesn't know it yet)

What paint colours should I suggest to her and why? Her style leans boho.

"Bell end mauve?"

Is that by the famous paint company CBT?

"Bell end mauve?"

Goes beautifully with the lighter shades of the Bleached Anus range.

Basically a warm beige/cream and add plenty of natural wood and green plants

Was that a typo? Did you actually meet "Hobo"?

Manchester-ish

Or go proper dark green like F&B Inchyra Blue with pale pink ceilings

the abyss

When I think boho I think textures and patterns so would go for neutral walls and the loads of fabrics in cushions etc

Oh, if we're doing serious recommendations: look at Annie Sloan paints. Her chalk paint is great if you want to do any up-cycling of furniture to add colour that way...

Boho style is all very neutral so the plainer the walls the better.

It's the furniture/rugs/cushions and any unique art work on the walls that should be more "colourful".

Neutral base /colourful unique accessories.

Look around those reclaimed furniture/decor places for ideas.

Sage. I have just done my hallway in sage and it looks so beautiful.

My house is so grey and I am slowly changing each room to get it out of the grey zone

I'm doing most of my house in a light green and I'm loving it. Most of the grey in my place is in more permanent stuff, which I'll get around to fixing eventually. (My walls were white)

I don't know how much it'd fit boho, but I think, in the right house, black would be stunning.

I’ve got furniture done in this, it’s expensive but the finish is superb, gets my vote

I'm the opposite every room was grey tones with pops of colour, my lounge is grey with teal accessories and I am at a stage where I am looking at it and want to change it. I would love a mustard wall in my lounge but I don't know if I have the guts. The main bathroom is emerald green with a leaf print wall paper and I absolutely love it.

I used B&Q colour match, but I'd describe the colour I chose for most of my place as a pale apple green
