James Cagney in Public Enemy when he rubs the grapefruit into his girlfriend's face. Not particularly violent, but it says

a lot about his character and the way he treats those around him.

Tony Montana in Scarface, normally I’d go with the original like someone quoted above. But Pacino nailed it here and that ending, epic.

Harold Shand in The Long Good Friday for my UK gangster.

"Tony Montana in Scarface, normally I’d go with the original like someone quoted above. But Pacino nailed it here and that ending, epic.

Harold Shand in The Long Good Friday for my UK gangster. "

The biggest gangster in that film is Alejandro Sosa, Montana is a d up idiot that draws to much attention and enemies, while Sosa is calm, calculated and in control.

I’d like to argue but in all honesty I think you’re right but trusting a d up idiot like Montana wasn’t a bright move either. But good point

Escobar was beyond gangster he is, something else. But if we are gonna take it to rmthe extreme levels of what a gangster is, i present Ghengis Khan.
