As we're going in to a bank Holiday weekend with three gloriously sunny days predicted, I ask us all: what's one thing we're gonna do for ourselves this weekend?

I'm going to have a lazy morning then go explore some lovely vegan food in a lovely park near me.

I bought a new 15kg bag of duck food recently so I will be taking a walk to the park, grabbing a coffee from the beautiful couple that have a wee coffee ban there and feed the local ducks while listening to a few podcasts and petting every dog that passes by.

Actually feel relaxed just thinking about it.

Online! Extra Select Premium Floating Swan and Duck Feed. They love it and it is waaaaaay better for them than bread. It is a HUUUGE bag though. I sometimes take extra to the pond so that those little kids that don't have anything get to feed the ducks. I have lovely memories of feeding ducks with my grandad as a kid.

Locally we have a pair of resident swans who we do get duck & swan feed for, especially when they are nesting and raising their young. Any passing ducks get the benefit too.

It's my weekend off work, so I'm going to really enjoy it and recharge. After I drop my daughter off to her dad's, I might go for a little shopping sprea and then back home.

I haven't baked anything for ages, my fingers are itching. I'm thinking lovely Pavlova with fresh cream and summer fruits would be nice, which I will be sharing on Sunday with friends. Still not sure what will I do for the rest of the day, still got to think that through ..
