Wow .... I have so many hobbies and rarely get time for them.

I would consider my Facebook and the forum on here to be hobbies because I really enjoy them and spend a lot of 'inbetween' time on them.

Otherwise anything arty crafty, can usually turn my hand to anything.

Walking, swimming, people watching.

A world of my own

Hobbies, photography, travelling, TV, Reading, socialising, keeping in touch with friends via Facebook (so many are scattered around the globe).

I have lots of Interests that don't involve me actually being active in but I like reading/learning about, I love history, ancient history, science and forensics (I did study that at college for a while), archaeology, anthropology. Wildlife/animals/nature.

If I had the time I'd do more painting/sketching, and home cooking, I do enjoy entertaining.

Mrs J is good with her hands and was a seamstress and knits like fury when the mood takes her .

She was knitting a jumper for me when we were courting which led to rather stilted conversations. .

Oh ! And animals , we have dogs and cats and birds and stuff , used to have goats as well , they were fun .

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Railways, both the full size ones and the models. Love travelling on the train especially charter ones that cover obscure lines. Love looking at the architecture of the buildings and the infrastructure (ever looked at the brickwork in the cuttings as you approach Birmingham New Street from the south west?) Reading about the history can be quite revealing too.

On the model side I primarily collect Southern Railway locomotives from the 1950s and diesels from the 1980s/1990s.
