Do you keep your couch/sofa/settee in the lounge/living room/sitting room/parlour?

On the front lawn wrapped in polythene?

Mayfair

My 'chaise lounge' is in the Orangery, my settee is in the Palm House, my sofas are in the Atrium and I have a small Chesterfield in the Vestibule.

In the living/front room.

One of them will be put into the back room in the summer as I want a little table where my great-granddaughters can sit and play.

I've always wanted an orangery, or a conservatory at the least.

I'd have the doors wide open in summer, as I sip tea or Pimms under the Bougainvillea, listening to the birds chirping to each other.

alpha centauri

I recently moved my bed into the lounge so the children don't have to share a room, so the sofa is now being ignored in my bedroom.

"The Chesterfield is in the lounge, facing the south gardens window."

For the purposes of this thread we aren’t including Chesterfields or Chaises Longue.

That’s for another discussion.
