Up until now, I have had a phone service from BT, a Broadband service from Orange and the full Sky TV package including sport and movies, with a 2 set facility.

Today I decided to look at the costs and initially choose to go to a 1 sky box and move the phone/boadband to BT.

However as Sky offered to reduce the 2nd box fee to £2.50 a month rather than £10.25 and Orange offered an unlimited broadband facility (as I currently have) with no charge for calls made in evenings (after 7pm and before 8am) and free all weekend for just £13.88 per month on a 12 month contract including line rental I think I've got myself a bargain and I've saved myself £40 per month in the process.

It's amazing how much wriggle room these companies have when you decide to leave them.

I looked at leaving Orange and asked what they could do for loyal as opposed to new customers. I now get free calls to landlines and also to other Orange users, saves me a fortune in my business
