Body hair removal

Can you remember why you started removing bits of your body hair, and at what age? Do you regret any of it? Do you still do it?

I think I started shaving my legs at about 13. I don't remember any pressure to do so, but clearly remember a PE lesson after I had where the other girls told me it was about time. It made me feel pretty bad, like they'd been talking about me. I only shave them these days if I want to wear a dress, or have sex with men who are not my husband

Armpits I do for comfort, probably started the same time I did my legs.

I've never done eyebrows as I saw my sister do hers badly. Plus I rather like mine as they are.

And pubic hair I trim. Started around the age of 18. I didn't like it getting matted. I didn't know what the substance was that got it all stuck together at the time. In hindsight, I was a horny young lady

How about you?

I don’t really notice the hair until it got caught in the horrible pe kit long socks

I have a bald patch on my leg that has one strand of hair sticking out. Started using woo woo round my love spots

I basically had a beard from exiting the womb onwards.

I remember the old man showing me how to shave towards the end of primary school so around 10 years onwards I shaved my face.

Was 30 or so when started shaving hair on the upper body I’d gotten more heavily into the gym to try and rebuild confidence after partner cheated then ran off and came back which I was happy with but felt like a total looser so stepped up the training and suddenly started caring about body hair so now do forearms, upper arms, shoulders, traps, upper half of chest (like some left on there) would do back if could reach just looks cleaner and shows muscle definition and vascularity better

I think it was late primary school/early secondary school and only because everyone else was doing it. My biggest regret was over plucking the eyebrows in the 90s

Just after I started secondary school. I grew up overseas and everyone waxed everything from eye brows down. I had boys laugh at my legs in PE so I joined the crowds and started waxing.

I’ve never touched my eyebrows though, occasionally pulled the odd wayward hair.

Last year I started laser and it’s amazing

I remember when I was about 11 or 12 maybe starting to shave (my face!) but to be honest with everyone, including myself, I used to be incredibly ashamed of my hairy chest and body in general. Always hid it and covered up.

Now much older, wiser and better…I no longer want to change myself, much more confident and satisfied with the way my body looks.

I hope you feel ashamed.

I’m the ultimate example of lounge forum low wit and you posted exactly the same thing… two minutes behind me!

That was the same as my sister. I think very thin brows was the fashion then. I'm glad I avoided it.

That seems so young. But I can only judge by my brother and he still barely needs to shave at 40. Some men just don't grow much hair I guess.

I've never even considered doing that. Maybe I'm lucky with light coloured hair, but I can't imagine how uncomfortable the stubble would get

I shaved my public hair at around 14, worst decision of my life

I tried electrolysis, which was painful and had little effect and then started waxing around 16/17..legs + pubes.

I tried shaving once as well. I must have been about 19. I was so massively uncomfortable. I've never waxed anything. It always sounds painful.

Our eldest is 10 and I can't imagine him needing to do that for quite some time. But there are boys in his school who have little moustaches. It seems so young to need to shave.

I don’t recall when I started shaving but I do like being hair free. I shave every where, including my arms (when I can be bothered). I usually wax my own eyebrows rather than going to have them done because the last time I walked away with basically no eyebrows and I didn’t have a lot to begin with

North West

Started shaving my legs in about Yr8 of secondary school because I got teased by a group of lads in the athletics team when we were sat at the side of the track. I can't remember when I started shaving my armpits but probably a similar time. I don't recall doing anything with my pubes until I was sexually active, which is an age I can't describe here. I've never touched my eyebrows either and I've never waxed anything. I now have to pluck hairs out of my chin on such a continuous basis, I'm considering just shaving.

Mr KC doesn't grow much body hair at all and only shaves once or twice a week.

Near by, West Norfolk

Great subject. I am shaved from the neck down and have been most of my life. I do not like body hair on me or the ladies I join up with. So I have got very skilled at removing it from every part of the body.

Many people have allowed me to shave there vagina, wax and even pluck (yes I said pluck) hair from open legs. It's great and takes a lot of time spent very close to a dripping vagina. I have shaved men too, normally partners or hubbies.

If anyone in Norfolk or in travelling distance of Downham Market wants to try my service, message me.

Michael
