Why what’s happening at 3pm ? By that time I’ll be elbow deep in Sunday dinner. Haven’t really got the time for the apocalypse.

My phone is allegedly smart, smarter than me anyway because I didn't get a text or alarm - thankfully.

I didn't turn anything on or off - not that I would know how to anyway so I am just thankful to not be on Big Brother's to do list.

I'm told it's because my phone is, like me, too old and that I should get a new one - not so flippin likely - my phone is for my benefit not for others to abuse my privacy without invitation.

Thanks - but no thanks.

I'm going to set the alert noise as my message notification. Then sigh and say "better be off to the bunker" as people nearby wonder why they haven't got an alert.

I was disappointed, the noise was awful too. They could have picked a better sound.

Although the Japanese Earthquake one is even worse and regularly scares the shit out of my sister in the middle of the night but I think she appreciates the warning more than she would appreciate being thrown out of bed x
