I have never had an I phone. i have always had an Android and it will likely remain that way. There are just so many things about Apple i dislike that I wouldnt give them my £, not that they need it of course

I prefer iOS. It runs much smoother than android but android probably has better features.

Android as the apps will actually work and not be compromised by stupid security protocols.

Android.

It allows me a wider breadth of customisations, distinct colour LED notifications, USB-C compatibility between other devices, tighter control and integration with my other Google smart/home devices...

I ditched all Apple products after a woman friend had an air tag found on her car.

Apple, it’s exactly how tech should be. I could figure out Android if I had to but can afford apple so no need

for a penny

I changed to Apple when graphics capability was important on my desktop.

I always had an iPhone and it works well so no need to change.

All sounds very complicated , exactly why I use Apple instead, everything just works as if by magic

I've had one iPhone but couldn't get used to it. I then had a few Blackberry phones which were great, then they were no longer available and have been using Android for the past 10 years or so.

I am sure though that for most people it's not about affordability. More like preference based on other factors. Also quite a few android devices cost similar or more.

Totally agree it's not a cost thing for us either, we have been using Sony androids for years, they have never let us down and we are used to the features etc, though our little ones all have apple iPads and iPhones, think it's more an image thing for them lol.

I’ve got both as my hobby needs me to be able to test software on both, so it’s out of necessity rather than preference, I also have apple Mac and pc because I’m nerd and proud, there are things I dislike about both but both are simply tools not toys

I like apple.

I hate android because Google seems to show your every move to anyone and you spend ages trying to turn it all off. And you continually need to sign into bloody Google where you don't on apple. I'm still not sure I've managed it on my android.

I have an iPhone too.

I have a strong preference for Android, except for this specific phone, which is an absolute piece of shit. The Samsung S20FE is an abomination and I cannot wait until January so I can get rid of the bloody thing.

I have iPhone. Seen enough horror stories first hand with Android devices to steer clear.
