Use an "intervalometer" app

Theseenable you to take predetermined number of photos with a set time limit between.

Setting a 5 second interval for 100 shots normall works well, then change ohone and or your position.

Then delete 90% of the shots keeping the top ten.

Generally the overall image quality is considerably better than frame grabbing from a video.
