I actually think that Timothy Dalton was a great bond, unfortunately I don't think people where ready for his intensity following from the cheese of Moore.

Moore was by far the worst and Brosnan almost as bad.

Dalton was the closest to Flemings version followed closely by Craig

Timothy Dalton for me, Bond was meant to be a gritty character. Dalton delivered it perfectly, as did Daniel Craig
