Can anyone recommend good TV Series or films please?

Or send me links to previous forum threads on here or DM I don't really mind, especially from F&B, sensuallover etc.

I marked bits on my old couples profile but that's now gone so I'm a bit lost, dam it.

Psychological thrillers, Korean or any foreign subtitled, weird, dark, plot twists, crime and so on is my usual tastes.

Last series watched was Sharp Objects.

I watched a Korean film called Forgotten (2017) recently that was good and would recommend.

Barwell

I thought the film Hereditary was excellent. I'm not usually into horrors but this film was exceptional. I also thought Sinner a series on Netflix was great. That is definitely in the psychological crime thriller category.

Maniac a series on Netflix was also one of my favourites, it is a bit weird so I'd check the trailer first before you watch. X

"Cheaters" on BBC 1, it was brilliant & oddly 18 x 10 minute episodes. Should get it on Iplayer.

I,ll not give the plot away but has a great early twist then just so good & such a great cast. Enjoy.

187 - film in Amazon Prime with Samuel L Jackson (Don't watch any trailer) about a school teacher.

Suits - Really good and interesting lawyer Series. Famous for having Megan Markle in it, but it's much more than that.

Somewhere In The Ether…

For some superb foreign crime drama may I wholeheartedly recommend the Danish series, Those Who Kill.

There’s three seasons, namely: Darkness: Those Who Kill, Blinded: Those Who Kill and Lost: Those Who Kill. All are very dark and superb

My Korean film recommendation for today: The Chaser. A serial killer themed flick that will be sure to have you on the edge of your seat

In the west.

I've watched Blue Lights on the BBC and A town called Malice on Sky recently, I thought they were both good.

Central

Go for Red Light! It's free, as on All4.

It fits your foreign production interests - it's Dutch. Based on the red light districts of Amsterdam and Antwep. Thriller, murder and gripping suspense. Incredible acting. I've shouted its praise for a few months - everyone I know who's seen it raved over it too.

The Chaser is outstanding! It’s made by a chap called Na Hong-Jin. His two other films, The Yellow Sea and The Wailing are terrific! Can’t wait for whatever he makes next.

Mindhunter on Netflix, based on the true stories behind the FBI agents who profiled serial killers, and if you have Sky Atlantic, Barry is just brilliant, about a hit man who *tries* to go straight. Noho Hank may be my favourite character in anything ever.

"The Terminal List" series on prime is good, Chris Pratt is in that and he is really good.

Film on Netflix called "Fracture" is a good thriller.

Im sure you've seen the classics, Shutter Island, Inception, The Prestige, The Illusionist, all amazing movies

Season 5 of Mrs Maisel has just started too, as another option.
