I don't know what that is but I do have heart issues and I'm now learning that I can't just ignore them any longer

I’m guessing Atrial Fibrillation.

Thankfully, no, heart seems to be one of the few bits still working ok

Yes it’s Atrial Fibrillation. Basically your heart beat is all over the place. It’s the most common and least serious heart condition

I had a heart attack a couple of years ago. Tend to do a blood pressure check every day and changed my diet to a more healthy option.

I would also advise any pain in the chest or high blood pressure go see the Doctor asap.

Yes I do OP. Luckily it is paroxysmal and I haven't had an episode in years. It is horrible when it kicks in

I am taking apixaban and bisoprolol, I also have a GTN spray which I use when I get chest pains from it

Not seen my cardiologist since lockdown and he had no concerns last time we spoke. I work full time and go to the gym along with swimming

I do get tired easily though but that could be me

"I get heart palpitations but I’ve never been to the doctors to see what they actually are "

AF is hard to diagnose because your heart has to be in that arrhythmia for the ECG to pick it up so if it's paroxysmal then it could be a while

I was diagnosed a few years ago when my heart was in AF, 145 bpm and the ECG caught it drop straight to 45, I was sent to hospital at that point

It does make you feel rubbish tbf

I’ve a feeling I’ll have to go in and get a heart metre hooked up at some point but I’m still going so ill be fine for now

Yep, had it a few years ago and was finally sorted with a cardioversion. All good but started up again in November. I'm back on Bisoperol and Apaxiban but hopefully it's sorted itself out. I've actually got a 24 Hours heart monitor on at the moment and am seeing a specialist next month. Fingers crossed. I do feel tired though but that maybe because I'm 63!

Please keep a check on it,

I can tell when I go into arrhythmia because I start to feel horrible. I can also tell when I convert back to normal SR

Horrible when it kicks in but manageable. Stay healthy and avoid too much stimulants like caffeine.

Get checked out and try not to worry.

Had a heart attack last year due to getting so dehydrated from a sickness bug that blood clotted and went into heart, was diagnosed with all sorts in the aftermath which was partly my fault as I discharged myself from hospital early so another echo wasn’t done and they were going off my first scan where heart function was down at 35% was told had heart failure and treated for it for a while but when finally had another echo heart function was back into normal range

And also my smartwatch is my lifeline, if I'm unsure about what my heat is doing I can check it with the ECG function and heart monitor

Somewhere

Had a heart attack last year caused by an undiagnosed heart defect. All fixed now thankfully but thought my number was up at the time.

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

I was hospitalised last week with suspected Afib .

I’ve now officially been diagnosed with Atrial Flutter & been put on beta blockers & blood thinners for life with the possibility of cardiac ablation surgery to fix the effected artaries In the future .

Was hospitalised last may for something else when they noticed heart issues.

After various tests was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but fortunately not considered that dangerous at the moment.
