And we don't mean the kind of benefits that George Osborne wants to stop.

Honest question: does it really exist?

We have them. Just wanted to know other people's take on this.

It's important to us that it's this and not just turn up and shag!

Didn't for me when I tried...Ended with someone saying 'I Love You' but not hearing it back.

Felt so guilty too but couldn't lie to her because of our friendship

Not from here; my friend and I sometimes meet up for lunch or go to the cinema, doesn't always end up with sex as we were looking for companionship and friendship, not just sex but without the bf/gf label

Has anyone else found that with some the second time meets aren't as good as the first time. Only rarely will you find a true friend with benefits.

Friends with benifits playmates whatever you wish call them. Yes you can have these peeps in your life. But please be aware sometimes feelings get involved. Which can ruin a special understanding. Nd leave one hell of a mess in their place.

East Manchester

I have a few FWB'S, they are in the most part social friends, people who can be relied on to offer company for something other than sex, some have actual skills which they will offer to use to help me, a female electrician, and a plumber, also someone who manages an agency and calls on me to help fill various positions when they need someone at short notice.

Because I am also a friend with benefits, because to survive, all relationships have to works in both directions

Meeting one of ours tonight. Should be fun as always.

The reason we posed the question is that despite us writing that we wanted FWBs in our profile, we still get so many messages that imply that they just want to show up and shag. We just thought we were either out if step with the way the site operates, or just too old fashioned for our own good!

It's pleasing to know we aren't on our own xxx

You get from the site exactly what you put into it. You 2 sound like you're a good laugh, if these guys don't want to take the time to get to know you then its their loss. Xx

I have found that ex's make the best friends with benefits/fuckbuddies. Once you have gone through the falling in and out of love but still remember the brilliant sex you had together...

I have 2 ex's that i might not see for a few mths at a time but everytime we do meet....

I know friends that do have them and seems to work.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Having an fb means:

You have freedom - to see who you want or don't want without any comebacks

They don't run your life - as some relationships can end up

There's no pressure - you don't have to explain where you are going, where you have been, when you will be back, etc

You can have great sex regularly

You can socialise
