No I tell my kids multiple times a day that I love them. I always end a phone call with other family members by telling them I love them too. I think it’s really important

I tell my children multiple times a day. The husband, we always have a kiss and love you in the morning and just before we go to sleep.

Family members I tell every time I see them

Carlisle usually

I only say that word to my dearest friend. I don't have children and it carries so many connotations that I'm deeply uncomfortable using it for almost anyone else.

I say it to my son everyday when he leaves for work and my parents after a phone call.

There are also few close friends who I will occasionally say it to

After every conversation with my kids I say it, always have done, always will. You never know when you'll say it for the last time.

I used to say it after every conversation with my Mum as well

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I say it to my nephews and my dad every time I see or speak to them. It lifts my heart when they say it back and especially the littlest midget because he doesn't give verbal or physical affirmations of love easily.

If I feel a wave of love for someone in a moment I'll tell them... but that's more "I have love for you" than "I love you".

Our children are told we love them multiple times daily. Ditto we say it to each other. I'll say "I love you" to my Dad but otherwise, it's very much who it is and what the scenario is. The in laws don't seem to be much into expressions of love etc.

My son, when I drop him at his mums. Also every night when I put him to bed. I want him to go to sleep knowing he’s loved

Myself and C tell each other when we feel it…we show it in lots of ways so we don’t say it every day but we say it when it feels right…

I don’t have kids, so that’s a no.

I don’t say it to other family members, because I don’t.

I think it can be an overused word which diminishes its meaning when it is used sincerely.

I perfectly understand its use with offspring and spouses , not suggesting that is overuse, just to be clear.

When the children were little I said I loved them several times a day, but the dynamic has changed as they've got older. One child doesn't like it. He's very emotionally reserved and outpourings of affection make him cringe with embarrassment, so I don't often say it to him. The other likes to be told, but doesn't often say it back. I say it to my partner daily.

All the time, absolutely all the time.

And I mean it too.

As a child I had very little affection, so I am making sure my child never feels that way.

Every single day. I found really hard to grow up in a home where those words were never said and I wouldn’t want my son or anyone I love to feel like that.

I think by over using it, over saying it, diminishes it's meaning, encouraging the use of words with little meaning.

I tell my kids (now adults) whenever I speak to them for sure but that's not all the time, when they were younger I would tell them but not all the time no ... showing them was a way better thing for me. Teaching them actions do mean more than words

I tell my kids and dogs I love them pretty frequently. My mum, not so much because she’s not really sentimental. She knows I love her though, I wouldn’t have sold up and moved back in to look after her if I didn’t!

I always tell my kids.

Because it was NEVER said to me ever in my childhood and I know what the absence of that does to someone.

I say it to my best mates too.

And I find it easy to.

Outside of that I find it very hard to.
