My mind will absolutely not stay on topic. Ever. And trying to meditator I get about 5 seconds before it’s gone " Accept that thoughts will come and go. Return your focus to your breathing. How does the air feel? Cool on the way in? Warmer on the way out? You can always to the breath and the current moment. Hope that makes sense, it helps me. J | |||

J" This, also take into account where you are meditating and as well as focus on your breath you can also focus on you third eye area. Just do a couple of minutes then 5 minutes and keep trying to go longer each time. | |||

"Third eye is in the middle of your forehead. It might be worth you trying alternate nostril breathing. It helps to deactivate your sympathetic nervous system and turn on the parasympathetic system. "I definitely prefer guided meditation! I struggle without it and find myself having to centre myself over and over again if I just meditate alone in silence Mr" Have you tried some Kriya guiden meditation, also just focusing on a lit candle can help. | |||

And trying to meditator I get about 5 seconds before it’s gone " Had similar problems when learning to meditate - I would recommend True Meditation by Adyashanti, it strips away a lot of the mystique & bullsh*t around meditation so well worth a look. | |||
