Somewhere In The Ether…

Good folks: Do any of you keep a regular diary?

More specifically, I’m referring to a diary in which you express your inner most thoughts as opposed to a date diary (bin day, birthdays etc)

If you do, how far back does it go or in other words, when did you commence it?

Cloud 8

I wish I’d been one of those people in life who diaried every day. It would be fascinating now to look back through at my thoughts from 10/20/30 years ago.

Newton Abbot

Haven't kept a diary since I was 11 and my sister nicked it and took the mickey out of me for weeks after she'd read it.

Lesson learned - never commit anything to print

I did when I first lost my mum suddenly at 13, I kept one for a good few years. I don’t anymore, mainly because I don’t have time to write in it.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I found a box of my diaries from 14-19 ish... and I've still got one that I write in every so often. Usually when I'm trying to work through my brain.

Deepest darkest Peru

I had one from around 13-16 and I cringe when I look back now but most recently I kept a diary when my grandson was born very prematurely. I wrote my thoughts feelings, fears and hopes down every day from the day he was born, until three months after he passed away. On occasion I still write in it ……
