I really had to think about that. But I do now remember we went out for a meal to a nice Italian restaurant. I've no idea how we spent the rest of the day, but presumably nothing too strenuous as I was 5 months pregnant.

First marriage? I don’t remember. Probably drinking. We used to do a lot of that.

Current marriage? A trip back to the place we got married, for a weekend away.

We didn't celebrate our first anniversary.

I had a celebration when I got divorced though .

I still reflect quietly on our anniversary now, even though I never hear from him and its been almost 13 years .

No remorse or regret just thankful got lessons learned and 3 wonderful sons

We spent it at home. We'd moved countries and had a 6 month old baby, so we weren't going anywhere.

We drove down to Hastings from South London and had a bag of chips on the front, Keith did it to replicate the night he proposed to me in the same place with a simple bag of chips.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I spent it in hospital recovering from back surgery... he apparently spent it in a hotel 200 miles away with the woman he was having an affair with.

So it could have been worse, OP.

On honeymoon in Cuba.

I plan on convincing the wife to save up enough money to go back for two weeks and recreate the sex

Was adults only but let’s make it adults only

At a Greek restaurant.

My husband didn't want to get into the festive spirit and complained that I put my tissue paper Christmas hat on.

I'm so glad he's come out of his shell and joins in with silly stuff now.

The wedding package at our hotel included a meal back there on our first anniversary.

We went to the bar after the meal and spotted three men in kilts.

My ex wife walked up and asked;

"Did one you get married?"

"Yes, me.' Replied one of them.

"Are you staying in the honeymoon suite?" She asked next.

"Yes", was the reply from the groom.

My tipsy wife then said to him, "this time last year we were shagging in your bed!"

I love being divorced, better than married.

In a hotel in Buxton, with the phone on standby in case we had to rush back for my friend who was due to give birth. We would have had to look after her elder son. She hung on until a few days later
