Reports that these Animal Extinction types want to disrupt the Grand National horse race to help prevent injury to jockeys. It's all over the news guys.

I have to admit to being against The Grand National. There is often a horse death at that particular race. Although I am not against horse racing in general.

Absolute BS I'm afraid.

Horses in the wild (although there's actually only 1 species of wild horse left) will jump obstacles if there's no way around them.

And whilst horses can be trained to jump if a horse doesn't want to, it won't. There's little point trying to scare half a tin of mammal to do something it doesn't want to, especially with someone sat on it because that's not going to end well.

I'm no fan of horse racing mainly due to the age horses begin being ridden but please don't claim all people who jump horses (Showjumpers and eventers for example) are forcing scared animals to do something they don't want to.

Some of those types are actually working with the racing community to help prevent those deaths. I personally like that unknowns are being phased out, and all qualifying horses need to have raced a 3 mile and come 4th or above. Else it's like me racing against Sir Bolt...

If you are ever fortunate enough to watch horses in the wild you will see them running in herds and jumping natural obstacles where a clearer path isn't available.

We saw this in the States a few years ago when two eagles startled a large group of wild horses.

We were told by our guide that wild horses would often run and jump for little more than fun.

Lots of creatures roll and jump to try and dislodge parasites. It's certainly seen in seahorses when they jump out of the sea

Have been to aintree on a couple of occasions few times to do security and few times to watch with friends

I’m 6 2 and stood by some of fences it’s frightening the size of some of them to me

I’m off the opinion it’s not good for horses as a lot have been killed during the races either lover the height of fences or as another poster said no novices in the race

Only my opinion mind

They should have an alternative grand national..the jockeys can be the horses..and they could be ridden by transgender midgets.. obviously they wouldn't be able to jump the fences so there would be a catapult type device to launch them over...
