The quintessential woman: is there such a thing? What does it mean to you, if anything? Is this someone who follows her core values and principles - whatever they may be? Is she assured, confident and motivated?

Or perhaps this is a superfluous thread for the sake of a thread!

I don't believe I take an idealised view.

There are qualities I admire, certainly being true to her core-values.

But that's an aspect of congruence between one's self-concept and one's innate self.

So the quality I admire above all is self-acceptance: Authenticity.

Trust is important in relationships and one can only be as honest with others as they accept and understand themselves.

After that the next priority is a nice ass.

I’m not sure such a thing exists for all. There may be women who ‘tick every box’ for certain men. For some, that will be celebrities who they think fit the bill, for some it will be their partners, for some it may be someone they haven’t yet met.

At 46 years old, I hoped I would have found my ‘one’ by now. I haven’t and I will keep on searching, but I’m under no illusions that my perfect women is out there. I don’t believe there is any such thing, just someone who meshes nicely with my life, interests, hopes, dreams etc.

But by jingo she needs to be filthy.

Someone who is confident,

Intellegent,

Articulate,

Ladylike,

Knows her mind and has a high level of integrity,

the heart of a lion,

And can grab the attention of an entire room, without saying a single word!

Looks or a type don't really come into it for me,

Every kind of look, or every type, has its place.
