"Always a hotel. Staying in a nice hotel is half the reason I meet guys FFS, I don't want someone's dodgy bed linen. I want clean and crisp! " And you never get a pillow mint at someones house. I might offer you a slice of toast and a glass of water, just because I'm romantic like that.

"I can accom, I'm single and live alone, but I've noticed recently that profiles I've talked to that also say they can accom expect any meet to be at mine. Do people automatically expect the other person to be the accomodater? It doesn't bother me that much but it is a niggle, two profiles in the past week saying the to meet at my place and making an excuse why they can't. " If you can and are happy to accommodate then I'm confused as to why it's an issue? No travel, all you need to do is a quick vacuum and tidy up, make sure there's nothing that would put anyone off (crusty socks by the bed, unflushed loos, weeks old cat litter trays) and you're good to go. And if they don't show up for whatever reason you're not left hanging around outside someone's house or a hotel, you've wasted time, fuel and money getting there and the bonus is you've a tidy house/flat too! Winner!! If we could accommodate we'd be meeting more regularly but we can't. So we have the joys of travel and club entry fees to look forward to when meeting. Make the most of being able to host as so many people in your position can't/won't. It puts you in a more favourable position when others are looking for company. A

Be nice to get the message "cone over to mine".
