Maybe we'd show them the old mining areas, although they're pretty ubiquitous in this part of the world. There's a groovy old Hall up the road but it's a private house so you can't go inside. Some interesting literary history there though. | |||

And the hall was once the home of a writer, yes. Based on your earlier description, I don't need to guess where you are (massive BH fan here!) | |||
