What is best or worst song you have had to listen to when you have been put on hold when ringing a call center?.

My worst one was a David Gray one that was popular a few years ago. Hated hearing on the radio, so having to listen to it on a loop for 10 minutes wasn't my idea of fun.

William Bloody Tell Overture. Once listened to this on a perpetual loop for 20 minutes while on hold to BT.

I wanted to commit murder by the time I got to talk to someone. They couldn't help me so put me through to another department and ... yes ... I was put on hold again with the same music!

This happened with four different departments until eventually I was put through to the first person I spoke to AGAIN who then said that I was talking to the wrong department.

I probably shouldn't have said what I did to her before I slammed the phone down but, in all, the call had taken 40 minutes.

when i worked for a well known breakdown co,they bought the copyright to Rescue Me,it was played when people where on hold,they didnt tell us and when people got through to us we got a mixed reaction,some loved it others went mad said you are taking the p**s
