Please excuse the whine but I feel this needs saying

I'm aware we can't discuss messages so I'm risking a ban

But why do men think its acceptable to send a first message, full of what they want to do to a woman, some of it being violent end of kink

I'm not kink shaming, each to their own and all that. But check its welcome.

Cos frankly, if anyone tried the stuff I've been messaged lately, they would come off a lot worse.

I find the overly aggressive word vomit copy pastes probably less offensive than the 6 pages about how they're planning to go down on me ones.

If they cared who their audience was they wouldn't be pasting the same one handed word vomit to every viable profile with an F flag.

Exactly wish people would know their audience we’ve had this a few times and be unsettling. Not that I like but have been using the bloc button a lot recently

I'm baffled how anyone even considers sending stuff like that, especially in the first message, but maybe that's just me and my naivety. My first message is usually consists of a self introduction and some bits I've gleaned from the recipient's profile, along with one of my face pics.

Of course, I like to know my audience, and I'm respectful enough to avoid contacting anyone looking for something I'm not.

Then you are in control of who gets to message you.

And if they turn out to be a jerk block them.

The site has controls in place to make this an enjoyable experience.

Granted not everyone will behave but you can help your situation by using filters.

I get messages like that but I just block them and move on. It's not always pleasant but then not everyone is pleasant. If your really hating it you can block single guys and look for them yourself. I haven't blocked them because I'm pretty lazy

Very much this. Take more control by using the options on here. It might not stop them completely but you can be in charge of your narrative here.
