that they have to buy clothes a size smaller than they used to ??

my fella and I were shopping this afternoon for some clothes and he decided he wanted a pair of jeans among other things .. Should be very easy .. he always buys Levis jeans and always takes the same size. However, today he had gone down to a waist size 30 from a 34.

Whilst we both do work out quite abit and I was aware he had lost a few pounds, Im not totally convinced that this is due to weight loss and wonder if this is clothing manufacturers 'fudging' clothing sizes in the hope of flattering us.

Thoughts ??

I am a size 12 but in Asda, I have to buy a 14 as they are tight with the material and the sleeves are too short in a 12. The problem with the 14 is that it is in then baggy. In Peacocks, I have to have a 10-12 in a bottom and a 14-16 in a top yet I am only a 36 D cup. I just thinks, shops are not very universal at all and that includes shoes too as some places I need a 6 and others a 5 or 5.5. I guess it would be nice to think you have lost weight but unless you have been trying to, its the shops fault

I can be a 12-18 depending on the shop and the cut.

I've got clothes from size 12 to 20 and they all fit. I don't look at labels anymore, it's all a crock of sh!t.

I just take a couple of different sizes that look like they'll fit and go try them on. I'd rather get a size 18 that fits and looks good than a 12 that makes me look like a badly stuffed sausage.
