The fun, fit, respectful single straight guy, the question is does he have place on fabs anymore.

The dynamic has changed since I joined, Bi-curious and Bisexual seems to be the sexual orientation of most males. Is this the progression in society as a whole or males and couples just edging their bets?

We as single guys fun the risk of being blocked for even daring to complement someone on a photo or post.

Why has the level of narcissism and ego escalated so. I get the need for caution due to the knuckle draggers and morons and their lack of common decency. A real kink or fetish will be the currency on which people exist on fabs fairly soon.

So us fun, fit, respectful single straight guys will soon be as the Dodo, extinct!!!

Forgive my sarcasm, OP, but I do find people saying “Most guys” more than a little tiresome. Your experience is totally different to mine. I respect your opinion but it is just that.

I sense frustration. It can be really difficult on here for single men.

I don't know if things have changed as far as swinging is concerned because from my perspective they haven't. What has altered (at an alarming speed) is my age. This has given me a different outlook on and approach to swinging and has certainly given others a different attitude to me.

There's also the question of confirmation bias. When things aren't working as they once did I tend to look for and generally find examples to support my way of thinking rather than seek out examples to disprove it.

Some, all of none of the above might apply op, whatever it is I wish to you luck

That's been an issue since the dawn of human civilisation, it's perhaps just the first time heterosexual men have had to experience a deficit of privilege? Have had to share space with others.

That's not to say I don't recognise or even feel it myself at times. As a heterosexual man. Although terms like respectful and fun are quite subjective.

I think you just have to be yourself and let the chips fall where they may. That's really what inclusivity means to me. You can try to adapt to the cultural norm - if such a thing exists. But to paraphrase Audre Lorde: If I didn't define myself, I'd be crushed by other's perceptions of me.'

That kind of authenticity is what attracts me more than anything else.

There's other elements I am flexible on but that's not one of them.

As a single straight bloke, the short answer is; yes, there’s space for people like me to interact and meet other people who are straight etc.

I got a gut feeling from what OP put is that they feel more threatened by bisexual people and just tried to masquerade it as a “straight people marginalised” argument.

I see there are plenty of straight folks here, but it is also nice to see people are allowed to express their more playful side in saying they are bi/curious.

I think it helps not to be over sensitive on fab. Accept people are making decisions for themselves not as a slight against you.
