Does anybody else get barometric migraines?

Can you literally feel the low air pressure pressing down on your head?

Yes, it's awful. I think it's related to my sinuses being permanently borked.

So you have my complete sympathy.

I used to get migraines but don't anymore not sure why guess its maybe liquid intake, i do however have high blood pressure which can lead to headaches but I've started drinking beetroot juice and eat bananas as a natural combatant, rather than take pills

Was this last night?

We both thought we were going to be ill.

A headache like no other that wouldn't go away, regardless of medication.

Has anyone ever had one of those eye examinations where they put fluoroscein dye in your eyes? Comes out in your wee and makes your wee fluorescent too. I wondered if it worked for your jizz too - could be fun!

Hi

I feel your pain.

I suffer from cluster migraines. Can go years without one and then get one that lasts 6 weeks and it's literally debilitating.

I take propanol every day. A small dose of 10mg as a preventative. I think they are now over the counter.

How are you feeling now? Do you have the groggy hangover type feeling?

Thank you.

I've just got that muzzy migraine precursor so far.

Might have to reach for the sumatriptan.

Have you tried the Accupressure point on your hand?

I get headaches alot still but used to get migraines every month or so. I found a cold compress really helps. Soak a flannel in very cold water, wring it out, fold and then lay on your forehead and temples. This will 3 Anadins, darkness, sleep, if possible, and no noise certainly used to ease it. Good luck OP.

Hi, yes. But doesn't seem to work. I usually get the migraines in a perfect storm; stress, bad food.and the weather changing.

Yes. Or at least I used to.

Suffered migraines all my life. It was in 2001, on a flight to tge states, that I discovered that a change in air pressure was one trigger. After that I began to notice a connection with the weather.

In October last year, I had a particularly bad week and aldo began getting nose bleeds.

Went to the doctors over concerns about blood pressure and found I had an issue.

He put me on blood pressure tablets and I haven't had a single migraine since.

Still get occasional headaches but can always shift them with paracetemol or Ibuprofen whereas before, nothing was effective.

I used to suffer with them a lot, I had one of those inner ear Daith piercings done which are supposed to help with migraines.

Not had a Migraine in over a year now and rarely get what's classed as a bad headache anymore so it definitely worked for me.

Along with lots of fluid intake as I was rubbish with that as well when I felt sick, I'm still doing okay now.

Could this be an option?

I get them and they last for 3 days all the time.

Lack of sleep, fluid and stress causes mine.

Also uncooked cheese and coffee is a trigger so have stopped those.

I actually had red jizz a few years ago.

I went to the doctor convinced it was the end, but once he’d established my recent…..erm “self-love” workout schedule, he quickly diagnosed a tiny blood vessel had burst through over-use .

In a serious note, I get terrible headaches that can poleaxe me for days. Fellow sufferers have my sympathy .
