on here and always seems to be the solution given if someone is struggling to get meets etc.

I've never been to one as I don't think it's for us.

What's your opinion is it really the solution?

Did it help you or did you try it and was disappointed?

Have a great day all.

It was a great start for us. We were too scared to dive straight into meets so we went to a club a few times and took baby steps. So it was the solution for us.

It's a shit solution. Go on guys, go to a single club, by yourself, where no one knows you, where there are other men vying for the same attention, and just pluck up the courage to approach couples and women who might not give you the time of day because they think you're only talking to them because you want a shag. That'll do the old self esteem a world of good

With clubs, people there are generally open to the possibility of play, so you’ve crossed that bridge simply by being there. Also there’s the ambiance and the chance to use ‘sexy’ rooms or equipment you might not have access to at home!

Oh, and this is coming from someone who has actually been to a club a few times enough to get a bit of attention, but those first few times were insanely nerve-wracking.

Clubs are a good option for a lot of people. As a single guy I keep hearing people say that they message 50 people and hardly get a reply. Go to a club and there are 50 swingers in the same building. The majority of these will be happy to have a chat with you if you are polite, smiling and friendly.

Choosing the right club for what you are looking for is important, but there are far more opportunities. Not everyone comes across well on paper, so with a decent personality clubs should definitely be considered.

I've never been to a club and it's something that doesn't remotely appeal to me.

I'm sure it works for some and others not so much, if at all.

I do perfectly fine.

I've tried a few with my wife years ago. Had a friend that worked in one and she was constantly trying to get us to go.

It had it's moments, but we much preferred private meets. I don't think it would interest me that much unless I had a partner who was really keen on the idea.

I doubt it is the solution if you aren't feeling it.

I can't think of anything less sexy than having sex in a club

Would love to go to a club, main issue for me though is that there isn't one near me. I have to travel to Brum, Coventry, or Newport or Swindon.

Particularly as a single Male I can only attend certain days, typically on days that I am working that day and the next.

Still it's going to a plan when I have time off

We go sometimes. It seems to work for some guys and not others. I think you need to be the type of person confident enough to approach people and have a chat without appearing like you just want a shag. I often feel for the lone guys standing on their own looking uncomfortable but then I’m rarely confident enough to approach them myself.

As a couple we mainly go for the social side and rarely play with others but it’s fun when it happens.

Kx

I think clubs are a great way to meet people especially if you go to a predrinks. I've been lucky to meet some very good people who i consider friends who made my first visit less daunting.

In saying that, i've never went to a club with any expectations other than to socialise.

Do I prefer clubs to meeting someone outwith? Probably not, but everyone is different and we all discover what works best for us.

If you go with expectations, you'll be sorely disappointed. Building the links matters

I've been on the fence about going to a club, I've never been before so the idea of it is pretty daunting

Ideally I'd rather go to one that caters more to singles, and I'm not all that big on being with MF couples, I prefer one-to-one encounters. Wouldn't mind travelling further away and booking a hotel for the right club

I just know which club would be best suited for me so it's pretty low on the list of priorities

Same as organised socials, you will get put how much you are willing to put in, yes there is a lot of people and lots of these people are already in friendship groups. But most are happy to chat and once you have made a few friends off you go.

Personally I like the big clubs with a dance floor atmospheres

It's not just clubs that are good for meeting people face to face, organised socials are too. If people are serious about the lifestyle I don't get why they wouldn't use the tools available to them.

If it weren't for clubs I'd probably hang up my swinging boots for good. Face to face with people from the get go, no drama or bullshit. They work for me but they certainly aren't for everyone.

I love clubs! They are great for making new friends doesnt guarantee I’ll get a meet at one but it’s great to have a social with potential fun.

I’ve made some of my best friends through the club scene.

I've been a couple of times and there are still a couple more I'd like to go to just to see what they are like. They are okay but I'm only really interested in them for the equipment that I can't have at home. I've no interest in a club that doesn't have a decent dungeon. They have their place just like socials do, for some people but I don't believe they are they are the be all and end all that people make out. They aren't for everyone and that's okay.

We started out with Clubs, we were terrified as we had no idea what they would be like and what we would be like.

It turns out they are like really friendly and safe night clubs. We personally prefer dress up Clubs where we can make an effort for the evening and then unwrap when we are ready, but we’ve also really enjoyed dress down Clubs.

It is worth trying several to see what you like. All Clubs are different and you never have to play if you don’t want to. The first time we went, we watched and talked with people and then played on our own in front of quite a few guys (which was horny as fuck!). Then we got more confident and realised it was like being a ‘kid in a sweetshop’, lots of opportunity to taste or just look.

We really enjoy Clubs - enjoy, whatever you decide

Same for me. Made some of my best friends and love going to different clubs and nights. I happily go on my own too. I would never rely on fab for meeting anyone. I prefer a club setting and meeting face to face and taking it from there.

It's the fact that we get enough meets without the need to go down this route, we use hotel's for our meets which are mostly guaranteed as they are planned in advance and no need to take the chance on a maybe in a club, we don't have a great deal of time on our hands and we try and make what we do have count.

Big groups, shy disposition, the feeling everyone already knows each other, the stigma of being a young single male. So yeah, quite a few things really.
