Sat chomping my way through some quality street (other chocolate are available) and it dawned on me all the strawberry, orange and coffee creams are encased in dark chocolate...

Why?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The contrast between the richer, smokiness of dark is better for a sweet fruit filling. It would be a bit cloying in the mouth feel if it was relatively cheap milk chocolate.

I prefer dark chocolate with creamy sweet fillings for the contrast.

Not a fan of milk chocolate.
