We are just back from a wonderful holiday in PDI and loved the Pubs & Clubs

We made friends with 2 different couples by way of the elusive "Pineapple" - on both occassions we were out for afternoon drinks and the couples had keyrings on the table on show with the Pineapple on it - our simple words of "Nice Keyring" opened up a good conversation with drinks and with the French couple a great night too !!!

PS - we visted the usual bars clubs in the evenings but on both occassions mentioned the simple "Pineapple" was the icebreaker for us !

PPS - The French do no how to have fun - Je Taime indeed

Have fun T & S xx

I thought this thread might have caught the attention of some here, at least.

Was it explained the pineapple keyring was purposely to express they're open to swinging?

Yes, it was on the table face up, one couple on a set of keys and the 2nd time the couple had it on the females bag lying on the table.

As we found out it was an easy ice breaker and instant relaxed chat followed as opposed to the usual trying to guess lol

If it was the written word rather than an actual pineapple I'd probably just think they were a fan of the brand! Makes me wonder now

so the pineapple keyring referred to a love of fruit or opened the studios?

Well the wife enjoyed the sweet taste that pineapple gives spunk tbh

But the keyring was the icebreaker which led to the fun
