Newby, looking to chat and go to my first club meet

Morning fab!

So I recently joined, and had a club booked but didn't go, because I was worried I might bump into someone I know aha.

It'd be wicked to meet a couple, or a woman to go to my first club meet with, even if it's just a chat and chill before

Any advice welcome

x

If you meet anyone you know in a club, nod and acknowledge them and leave it at that, Remember they are their also!

If you meet someone you know in a club never look down maintain eye contact and don't touch

By the looks of your profile picture I don’t see you having too many issues seems very attractive

The only thing I will say is you have that your gf knows about your account … would you not have them just made a couples account and if she didn’t want to play stated this on the account

Could've got you more interest?

With clubs and being a single guy best advice is to not be pushy or lurking around every corner, try to be smiley and polite.

Ask people is it ok to sit with them, stand and chat by them.

I can’t imagine how it must feel as a single genuine male for your first club visit good luck to you !

Newcastle

Main thing is don’t mix up Facebook and fab

(Different worlds)

Keep that mentally online and club.

Beyond that it’s statistics, social skills and dumb luck.

If you come across someone you know, I wouldn't be worried after all they are there two

Try a club I think you will like it I loved my first club experience.

Just be polite, engage in conversation and give people space.

Are you less worried about bumping into someone you know if you go there with a woman or couple then?

Ahh thank you

And I was thinking about that at first, but saw a lot of people that were apparently single guys just saying the other half didn’t want to play, and I didn’t want people to think it was a fake account aha.

Really appreciate the advice thankyou, good to meet you xx

Hi OP . Which club was it ? Only asking as you’re fairly local to me so was wondering if it was the same one I visit.

Yes I have been there . Not my favourite club. There is a social party on May 19 at AbFabs . It’s near Heathrow T5. Maybe put your name down for that ? The last time they also waived the joining fee. Not sure if they will do that again but if so would also save you a fair few pounds. Worth considering I would say.

Glasgow

I’d really like to go too but reckoned for most of the events it’s with a partner and I’d love to meet someone that I could do that with.
