From a neutral position as a mighty Stoke City fan I'd like to see Liverpool win followed by a Man City win to make the title race a little more intriguing.

It would be interesting to hear his view on who someone should support if for example :

They were born in Manchester and lived there for 10 years.

Moved to Newcastle and also lived there for 10 years

Now currently living in Leicester.

Are they now a glory hunter if they support Man U? By the OP's reasoning, should they support Leicester?

By that logic, if an LFC fan wants to see their team win the Premiership, all they need to do is move the Manchester or Chelsea

Well speaking as a Kop season ticket holder who was at the game today, a few things I'd add to this thread.

First off United clearly had the better of the first half for several reasons, not least because they easily won the midfield battle and 2ndly that RVP clearly makes a difference, though in Suarez's defence as United's midfield cut him out of the game in the first half he was impotent at that time.

Liverpool clearly won the 2nd half, the substitution of bringing on Sturridge at half time worked and United were holding on for the last 15 minutes or so. Vidic's goal was a mix of good fortune for him and unlucky for us, Sturridge's goal was good follow up work from him and poor play by the dodgy Raphael.

At this particular time United are a long way ahead of us in league terms, though I'm certainly expecting that to change in the next few years as LFC progress. Overall despite the result, it was a reasonable day out and Liverpool certainly gave The Mancs plenty to think about.

Roll on next season unless ofcourse we beat you in the cup later in the year.

So does Webb not sending off Johnson for a second bookable, or the defender that hugged wellbeck to the ground when he was clear through dispell all the "webb is a united fan"

Wonder what the scousers will blame the result on now ???
