How are you lonely if she's lost her sex drive? Surely that'd be something you'd feel if she didn't spend any time with you at all? Maybe I'm confused?

Is she going through the menopause? That can squash a sex drive. Stressed? Worried/anxious about something? Does it matter, if it's a short lived thing? Everyone goes through peaks and troughs.

Yeah, this was my reaction too. Everyone has peaks and dips (I mean, I have those just over the course of a month so it’s bound to happen longer term). For example, I’m literally a hornbag one week of the month. A couple of weeks later? No chance…

But if a partner teased me about it? Yeah, that’s gonna shut it down even more.

I get you that it can feel lonely without sex, particularly if physical touch is one of your love languages, but you need to work on this together if you can. Not a “you have no sex drive, I’ll tease you about it and then feel shit myself” thing - nobody wins there.

I mean goodness yeah. It must be a massive surprise and a shock to the system.

I bet she’s probably feeling pretty surprised by it too. Hormones are powerful things (if that’s the cause, anyway). And even if/when you ask her, she may not know what’s causing it. She might just not be feeling it.

Maybe time to start increasing the non-sexual touch (if you both want and that feels right for you) so you can some connection back, physically?

Here a different prospective .Maya and I don't have sex because of her I'll health not because she gone off it .yep its frustrating .but its not the end of the world .if your relationship

Is good other wise concentrate on other fun things. That you both can do together sharing humore and do things together communication

People sex drives change over time and come and go and come back again . talk to her see if she having any health issues to do with menapause or anything else .but talk to her .do things that make her feel good and if she feel good then you'll feel better too and who knows you may gain brownie point her desire may come back .

You can be in a room full of people and be incredibly lonely. Just because the OP has a wife doesn’t mean he cant feel lonely. I have a partner however I spend so much time alone I sometimes think I’m single. We sleep in seperate rooms and have t had sex for years and I can honestly say I’m incredibly lonely.
