Double text?

If someone hasn’t read your message, will you message again or wait patiently for their reply?. Does it annoy you when others do this to you or do you just take it as them being interested?. Not just on fab but in general.

On the rate occasion i may do so, if i think my message is lost in the pile, hasnt been read or deleted and I think we are a good match then, i will send a follow up.

If we are chatting and then don't get a reply (even when the others are showing as being online) then we just tend to go straight to the block button.

In our book it's just bad mannered so it won't be going any further.

Yes, I really don't care for the "rules" , with friends we'll send multiple messages, on multiple platforms and can also be having 3 different conversations, that's how we roll!

The only time we double text is when we text our teenage children and they don't reply after an hour, when you know they constantly have their phone in their hands and have read the message.

Yep. Fuck convention. If I want to message someone I'm going to do so. I like those kind of freeflowing conversations where it's not hampered by waiting for the other person to reply. A lover sends me videos, voicenotes whenever that desire hits him - I quite like opening WA to see 8 odd messages from him.

Oh on Fab? Rarely. If I've not covered something I will. Think it's because I hate when you're talking, ask questions and they're ignored and the person just talks about their stuff. So I like to interact properly with messages.

Some people are multiple messengers. It’s just in their DNA. There are some friends I can even recognise from the cadence of the notifications buzzing on my phone.

Oh that's lovely! I set different people as different vibrations so I know who has messaged me without looking. Is that a bit weird to admit? Possibly.

Only to people that I am already chatting to, and normally because I have sent a text and then realise there was something else I meant to say.

I tend not to send a message to someone who has not responded before (unless of course something new appears on their profile and catches my eye).
