Is an eaterie in a place called Harrogate which is renowned as the poshest town in Yorkshire.

They are renaming it as The Badger so as not to cause offence to customers.

What nonsense is this?

Editors who vandalized Ronald Dhall's books replaced the word fat with enormous. Why cant they have renamed it the Enormous Badger....

The quote from the sign maker was too expensive.

Don't offend a badger Tom.

Toothy violent buggers.

In this case, the renaming might have been a good move.

Political correctness gone mad... What's wrong with a fat Badger anyway. If anything it is stigmatizing fat people

Tom will meet you in the fat Badger, or is that the enormous Badger or is it just the badger...

No to Tom its the corpulent badger or possibly the plump badger or the well fed badger.may be more suited to Harrogate .

Sorry... I'm still struggling with the notion that there might be anywhere posh in Yorkshire.

But you have understand those wanting to change the name are sticking up for badgers who may be offended by been call fat . but I not fan of the word fat .its surprises me the amount of women who choose to call them selves fat. But I consider women beautiful fat or thin .but I've never spoke to a badger about their views on the subject .

As it's Harrogate then maybe it should be called The Gourmet Badger and the sister restaurant in Scarborough called The Windswept Badger...

Tom went to that Betty's Tea Rooms in Harrogate once. He was not impressed. It was like going back in time and the waitress uniforms were really dated...

All healthy adult badgers are fat, it's the nature of the beast, they eat as if thier life depended on it. In fact it does depend on it
