Mind blown

Yesterday I met my ex for coffee and after a few difficult topics of conversation he told me when we met I was too passionate probably because I'd never been treated properly in relationship. I didn't know if I should be insulted or flattered. I ended up insulted.

My mind was blown.

What things have people said or done that have blown your mind recently?

If you don't have passion you have no creative imagination.

No passion no spirit.

No passion no lust for live.

I don't mean to offend but, are you sure he isn't a sociopath.

I agree . I am passionate. I'm a hopeless romantic too and I love that about me so I won't ever be changing.

Not offended. You could be right!

And there is absolutely nothing wrong in being passionate. It fires the soul to make life worth living!

Think you ex is just trying to knock your confidence, don't let him. Chin up...

And no other eprson has the right to expect you to change, once they do, it stops becoming about enjoying each other to becoming about possession. If you can't Embrace, accept and love oneself, how you you do these with another.

A very attractive quality and you are fantastic who you are.

It blows my mind that someone would assume the context of why two people would meet based on a part of a conversation they were not part of.

Sounds to me like he has certain ideas about how women should behave e.g. what he is calling passionate , i've taken to mean you are sexual or sexually forward. He's also put that down to 'being treated badly in relationships' and not just viewed you as a sexual being.

Maybe you were too strong for him.

What has someone said to me that has blown my mind lately ....... uhmmmmm

I'll have to come back to you on that one cos no one has.

You shouldn't let anyone tell you your "too" anything sounds like he's reflecting some deep issues about himself onto you. Don't let him dull your shine. X

I've seen too much and experienced too much over the years to be genuinely surprised by any word or deed.

I was probably a child the last time anything blew my mind.

.

Too passionate? As in, too intense?

Or too passionate in an erotically charged dialled up to 11 kind of way?

You can never be too passionate. But you can have incompatible levels of passion.

He’s an ex for a reason.

Exactly. Too passionate *for him*. Not too passionate! There’s an important distinction there.

I wonder if that means he felt your passion wasn’t properly controlled in previous relationships. Maybe your passion intimated him because he’s the man and should lead on that in a relationship. I hope not, but that’s what the phrasing makes me think. Abhorrent views, if so. There are still far too many people (men, if I’m being honest with my viewpoint) in the world who think they should control relationships.

I hooked up with a lady from fab once and we had an amazing afternoon of fun, she was an amazing squirter and pretty much every soft furnishing in the place needed to be cleaned.

I produce a fair amount of precum… nothing unusual in that…

Yet after departing she messaged to say we wouldn’t meet again as she didn’t like how wet my cock got…

Mind blown…!

Anyone that puts you down is projecting their own insecurities on to you. Is usually emotionally unavailable and immature and knows it. But would be unlikely to admit it let alone address it and will most likely destroy you first in order to keep weaknesses hidden and keep up their false persona.

Too passionate. What does that even mean? Difficult to comment without knowing exactly in what context he meant it.

The Matrix being nearly 25 years ago has blown my mind.

Very little blows my mind anymore. People have said and done (or not done) lots recently but it doesn't blow my mind as I'm used to it, I choose to walk away and not engage in their behaviour.
