I would buy a vw golf tdi second hand just upgrade certain filters etc and upgrade the perforance and a bit of suspension work and bank the rest of the cash for running costs.

bloody hell a sunbeam lotus havnt heard of one of them for a while, back in the day when we was boy racers my pal used to drive one of these and lets just say shit of a shovel
