Manchester (she/her)

We're decorating a home as an ode to ancient mouldy custard.

What style, colour palette, etc are we using?

(Forest green upholstery in velvet to imitate mould?)

Ooh yes. Accents of fruit to go in the crumble. Grey washed out wood and lots of forest green

Different shades of yellow and brown to represent different types of custard?

Covent Garden

Use at your discretion whatever colour, shade and hue literally makes your quim quiver to your aesthetic delight, but please kindly ensure that you use a decent paint brand such as — Farrow & Ball, Fired Earth or Sanderson etc. Avoid the cheap brands such Dulux, Crown, B&Q, Leyland, Valspar and so forth.

Cheap Tasmanian brands are best avoided.

I've always felt that spunk is a bit more like half set egg white... Custard is only made with the egg yolks.

Colors that resemble mold and decay, such as olive green, mustard yellow, and a muted brown, would be fitting for this theme. You could also incorporate shades of purple and burgundy to create a sense of richness and depth.

Fabrics: To imitate the texture and appearance of mouldy custard, plush velvet in a deep forest green would be perfect for upholstery. Curtains made of a sheer, netted material could add a touch of vintage elegance while also hinting at the theme.

Nah, the mould is on the custard.

Maybe postmodern mixed media art, including more velvet
