It's hard for guys to get verifications because the male to female ratio is astronomical. Women rightly steer towards people with actual veris to avoid having their timewasted or being catfished. I've noticed this desperation to meet from guys has resulted in men giving fake verifications to profiles who promise a meet. This means other men are duped Into thinking there talking to a geniune girl when in fact it's a lonely gay dude getting his kicks from stringing straight guys along. Should there be punishment in way of removing and permanently blocking people who give fake verifications to obviously fake profiles? There is 1 particular person who keeps making fake profiles and being removed by admin but within minutes of making profiles she/he has multiple verifications.

All verifications must also provide a verification photo to the site with all parties present and usernames clearly written on paper they're all holding.

Can’t speak for other women but I don’t steer towards people with veris. I’ve met a few people without any and never had any issues. If you’re looking to meet immediately then I suppose it could be an issue.

I obviously was not being serious.

All verifications are to be taken with a pinch of salt as a minimum. Definitely not a major thing to decide on whether or not you meet someone.

If veris are to be taken with a pinch of salt then there is no point having them. Just have a photo verification and remove the rest. It defeats the purpose of veris

Everyone interprets things differently.

If you want to disregard veris completely, then go for it.

I quite like them. I like seeing the little Web of people.

Well they give you a good indication of what or who you're meeting. I saw a profile with veris and looked at the type of people they were meeting and that made me decide not to message for example. It's a good Indicator when used properly. Those who give fake veris to catfish should be removed in my opinion

Do they? I find the wording of most verifications absolutely worthless. Same old treat them with respect and all that jazz.

If they're more likely to put you off than encourage you to meet someone, surely it's better to have the more information to make a more informed decision?

There isn't a realistic way for every verification to be proven. I've had several in clubs where phones and cameras aren't allowed so there couldn't be photographic evidence.

You misunderstood me. My point is some people on here give fake verifications to people in order to meet but those people are catfish. If you give a fake verification to someone who isn't who they say they are then you should be removed.

And how do you prove that someone isn't who they say they are? Or that the other person didn't meet them?

Yes I know a guy who gets fake veris, he targets 10-25 year olds for this. He's quite open about it (his view that they're more likely to agree), even though gets shut down after a little while. Then a few days later another pops up. My favourite being (he writes them himself, they're always about breeding ??), the woman in question did copy and paste everything he wrote to be put on his profile including "can you paste this?", then his verification. It's so silly and blindingly obvious, yet people will still write them to get one in return. Apart from shutting down, can't see a way around it?

Some of these profiles are obviously catfish. When the pictures are all of different girls it's a start for example. I've seen profiles with 75 webcam veris and did the webcam and realised it's a recording. It isn't hard to realise a profile is fake.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you******
