House hunting!

Mum and I have been house hunting today. I've seen the most gorgeous house, we are going back to view it again at half 3 and then hopefully put an offer in.

Please cross your fingers. I need some good news.

That is both against practice and morally wrong. No wonder estate agents have such a poor reputation.

This is long but I had nothing else to do!

I totally agree bacta but that is how it works, estate agents don't care about the seller or the purchaser, they care only about their bottom line! My friend is one of the north wests largest leasing landlords and estate agency owners. And he has told me things about how the property market works.

This is not some tv program that's all crap the property market is a dirty business, and I just wanted Ruby to be awere of that. Plus she PM ed me a few times and she is dead nice!

The estate agents can screw every penny they can from a buyer just with the info people say as soon as they enter! Ie: you tell them price u are looking for. he now knows how much you can afford, say you go in and ask to see a property at say 100k he knows that you most be able to raise that much, you go look at prop came bk or phone offering 90k.

He will either phone the vendor to tell them to turn it down, or he will not contact them, and say the vendor has turned it down!

And tell the buyer he would properly except 95k at a 1.5 to 2% commission he has just made a extra £150-200 in a phone call.

Plus most estate agents will value a prop at 10k over its market value guaranteeing them any loss through negotiation!

And I am not trying to get in your knickers disappointing I know but you can't win every time lol
