I did an experiment with myself,

I thought by only having one visible pic, not rude, hiding all my other pics so it would look like i have just 1 would decrease the amount of friend requests sent by people that have never winked or messaged and I've never made contact.

But it

increased?? My mind cannot work it out! Or they are just completely desperate lol suppose it's a good filter

Apologies if i made no sense I'm having some vision issues with new glasses

Still get some.

They're ignored though.

I guess single women are just too hard to resist.

I used to keep all my photos in hidden rather than friends so it looked like I didn't have any. It cut down on the requests

Less can be more. Sometimes the imagination extends the possibilities of what that person may actually look like. I had more interest before I had my face pic up

I totally ignore friend requests as they won't see anything that you can't already see public.

I'll only add those I've met as friends. So not really fussed and never really noticed.

It's weird they have increased though OP
