Someone arrange a meet but do not read message

Someone arranged a seemingly genuine meet. When the time came, I can see they log in and out but do not talk to you. When I sent a polite hello message, they never read it.

What about you do? What’s the meaning behind it?

I tried to not be too angry or upset but it does make me feel bad about myself.

Go ghost,

Don't message them again or give them another chance.

They will be surprised.

Might even try to make it upto you and under exceptional circumstances you could possibly meet.

They ain't worth stressing over! Don't waste your breath or time move on and forget about them. Was their profile verified from a meet?

Don't feel bad, there are a lot of tools on here.

There is a slim chance there's a genuine reason.

I stay logged in so it shows I'm on but I can go days without checking. Yes if they arranged something they should be checking in but if a genuine emergency or something cropped up they might be logged in but busy.

Personally if I was in your position I'd just block them and assume they are a tool

What's the meaning you've made to it Op?

You tried ringing him? Blimey he gave you his number and ignoring you seems crackers to me. It would be a "Goodnight Vienna" if it was me. Haha

Don't take it personally OP, happened to me an hour before a meet recently.

And then tried to gaslight me when I called them out for their behaviour!

Report, block, move on!

Poor behaviour. You live and learn and generally your gut instinct is correct.

Likely to be a catfish or fantasist

London & Europe

Same thing happened to me recently, with 2 different women. We arranged to meet, then when the time came they stayed offline, for days. When they finally logged back in, one of them apologised and tried to arrange another meet, the other tried to blame me for not sending my address (I had told her to message when she wanted it, she also had my number).

Luckily I hadn't wasted time travelling for these shitshows

Can’t believe how many people do this! Swear I’d hunt them down and chop their bollocks off if anyone did that to me or didn’t turn up. I’d be fuming!

Calm down Glenn Close.

If a man said that, they would be labelled crazy.

Shit happens.
