Wondering if I could get what I wanted from the site and also whether I had what it took to offer others what they wanted too as far as sexual experiences go. I still do think about the latter quite a bit but it doesn't define me on Fab as much as I thought it used to.

My first meet wasn’t great, I was very naive and under the influence of a manipulative narcissist and listened to them instead of my gut.

I wouldn’t say bad as such but time wasters, no shows & rude people who think it’s ok to message abuse (yes in first contact) kinda ruin the whole experience oh and entitled pricks who think everyone should just drop their knickers for them just because they are on here

I've never thought of leaving.

We too a 5 year break where I probably popped in the forums without posting about half a dozen times.

But never considered leaving.

It's far easier to just log off or hide your profile than leave and then have to start again if you choose. I've never understood the revolving door fabbers that come and go every couple of months.

I've not had any really bad Fab experiences - the usual annoyances and frustrations at times (and on the Forum, there are only so many 'cut or uncut' threads a man can take!)- but I'll leave when I'm bored rather than the actions of others wearing me down (they're not quite the same thing).

I still enjoy chatting and (occasionally) meeting people from here so I'll be around for a bit, I reckon. Sorry about that.

Not directly connected to Fab. Ish. But an experience I had recently, first one in my life where someone else was chosen over me. I was the back up option. The lesser one. Didn't know I was until after. It did make me think; fuck, I'm pretty delusional. People wouldn't choose to meet me. Because that's what it's about. Choosing to spend time with someone.

So yeah, that was the closest I've come in a long time. It was handled really poorly. And I did find myself thinking fuck, I must be awful company. Really bad. Hey ho, I've moved on.

When I was using the site as my main way to meet I found it pretty frustrating and it really shook my self-confidence at times. Now I just come here for a natter when I've a bit of time on my hands and it suits that purpose really well for me.

I've never thought about leaving but I have had months where I've not thought about logging in because it felt more of a drag than a boon.

I haven't really had a bad experience in a long time one guy I met a few years ago for a social did make me think about leaving as he didn't know the meaning of the word no.But he had left fab before I got home and could report him.

Fab is a strange place at times it has some amazing people and some not so great,what is seen publicly is not always a true representation of the person. So I take most things said on here or to me with a pinch of salt. I make up my own mind and do my own journey my own way and I've been lucky enough to meet some wonderful people and some I do consider to be good friends.And one who is someone I trust completely. And people like that are why fab are worthwhile. I tend to ignore any abuse etc I may get off people that I don't know or care about,that's what the block button is for.

I think if I ever do decide to leave I wouldn't come back.
