I’ve come out of a terrible marriage.

I initially joined due to my ex when we were together. I’ve recently come back as a “grow through it” thing.

I’ve found it really has helped with my self worth.

I don’t know what I was really searching for before. Just some sex & attention maybe. But I’m already finding more. Friends maybe. A place. Some peace. Definitely not what I was looking for or expecting.

How about you? What were you looking for. Has it changed? Have you been surprised? Disappointed?

I've shared this before so apologies if I'm a bore.

I was talked in to dating again by a friend when I filed for divorce. She ear-twisted me on to Tinder and then Hinge when I hated Tinder then fessed up about here when I quit Hinge after a few days.

I want and need non-vanilla, unconventional.

She found it through her then partner / now fiance.

Was impulsive in the first weeks and met without enough chat so wasn't the best intro but that one taught me well and was always more careful and patient. But it did what I wanted, which was to reclaim the me I'd lost over the years with the ex.

For me, I have an inquisitive mind and didn't want to listen to Boris who said people were allowed outside to exercise and go to work if they wasn't able to work from home in our times of lockdown

My husband committed suicide… we had sex pretty much daily and arguably was one of the best parts of ‘us’. It is a eye opener site, you get judged very quickly which is understandable, safety has to be top priority always. Been told I need to sort my profile out take a lot more pics of private setting and show them to all, but I thought just get the mundane but important information out there on profile, and rest will follow via connecting messaging. But its great to see a lot have connected and its helped a lot of people in there lives too which is fantastic news. It wasn't an issue for me, I knew she was bi when we met. In fact I encouraged her to explore it if she wanted, she never did. When I caught her we talked about it and I said ok as long as our relationship comes first. There were many other bigger issues in the relationship, mainly her being a horrible alcoholic.
