One of my oldest and best friends just text me to wish me a happy New year, we had quite a lengthy text conversation which I thought was slightly weird but assumes he was somewhere he couldn't talk.

Turns out he's in Tasmania and this conversation just cost be a bloody fortune!

I now need to plan a revenge prank...

Why would it cost you if it was by text?

International texts are 60p each and we exchanged nearly 100. They're only free if you're sending them within the UK!

As long as you are in the uk sending them to a uk mobile no. You should be ok for normal rate regardless of where he is

Must be your package then. People text me internationally all the time and its their usual rate to send/receive. I'm the one that pays the international charges...

I asked him, he's safely out of the way in Launceston.

They're out there visiting his wife's family.

He won't be for long, I've just called his mum. I'm going round to pick up his house keys tomorrow. Some furniture is being moved around and his car may end up somewhere other than his drive (secure though). His mother was Pissing herself when I told her and is willing to play along with my plan...
