Worcestershire

I challenged them on this on Twitter a couple of weeks ago as it was 8 degrees and midday. Their reply was road temp colder than air and we use bespoke forecast. Nope I don't believe them. If they are they are wasting money...

Warks / Northants Border

"Leisure Drive"

Those rare roadsigns suggesting a nice drive in the country. Usually they are just a boring road with hedges either side.

At the G20 summit, there were world leaders. At the UN Summit, there were officials from Untied Nations.

I've yet to see anyone walking a Labrador at a Blind Summit?

Heathrow

There was painted on a bridge on the M20 that said “princess I love you will you marry me” it was there for about 10 years. I always wonder whether she said yes or no.

Somewhere near here

I don’t trust them, I especially don’t trust road closed signs locally, 90% of the time I’m right, the 10% I do the turn of shame then secretly laugh at people doing the same when I know the short cut

We saw some the other day driving through pluckley etc (not motorway).

"High collision rate on the bend"..loads of them for about 10 miles, I'm not fucking surprised reading all the signs telling me!!

If you're talking about Smart motorways, the purpose of the speed limits is to slow the traffic enough so that any hold ups have cleared before you get to them.

Unfortunately, the knock on effect from that is that, because drivers don't see the reason for the limit, a lot of them ignore it, thereby negating the whole purpose and contributing further to jams - never mind that whenever a speed limit is displayed, speed cameras are active

Spend all day on the motorway network,my biggest moan(and there are a lot) is that the warning signs are usually too late for you to divert

Central

The M6 signs in Cheshire and Staffordshire have been rather suspect for a few weeks.
