It's a secret.

In reality the women get loads and loads of messages and don't have time to read them I think. So just a hello is never enough. You have to say something that " make me take notice " what ever that is? I guess just try and be polite and tell them a little bit about yourself in a few lines. I get no replies what so ever so I'm theist person to give advice hahahaha good luck dude x

You just put hello in a message and It would probably not go very far.

You do not have to write chapter and verse but just enough to show interest in the person you are messaging, take something out of their profile and comment on it to show you read it and just go from there.

You need to stand out. If someone has a half decent profile it's not too difficult, just find one bit of if it to focus on and send a message relating to that which will make them want to respond.

Anything bland, such as shallow compliments that will have been heard literally 100's of times probably won't get a reply.

Hello, hi, how are you, etc is just a waste of time.
