Hi all. The Hitachi wand seems to get alot of 'good press'.

Anyone have one/used one?

I know some of you will say its an each to their own type of toy but some feedback would be good.

Anyone tried the Ebay cheapies (£20 rather than £80).

LoveHoney do some of their own at around £50.

The cheap ones on ebay are hitachi clones, or fakes, and if you are someone who gushes/squirts might want a proper branded one, unless it dangerous electrostim

got ours from extreme restraints £37 + p&p and an adaptor from maplins £9.90 .

ours is a seven speed one first time we got it to seven lily fainted !

As stated already, the Lovehoney site do their own and are brilliant for playing. great settings for massage and you can buy attachments that do a good job also

We got a red one from ebay, first one burnt out, but they sent a replacement and advised us to limit the use to 15 minutes, the ebay ones are real good, but limit how long you use them for or they will overheat

I bought my Hitachi wand off ebay with the power adapter included (They only make Hitachi's with an american two pin plug). I have also recently bought the wand 'love seat' (see photo's) off love honey for it!

It is quite possibly the best toy I own and I have never looked back since. The first time I squirted was due to my wand and even with 'regular' usage

I haven't managed to break it yet!!

I have recommended it to pretty much every female friend I have, swingers or not. All I can say is if you get the chance...... BUY, BUY, BUY!!!

Bought mrs scoobs one of the cheaper ones off amazon for xmas and it works very well, after buying it and seen the orgasms she has with it I cannot see the point in paying £80 for something that does the same job for £30, how long it will last the way she is using it is no ones guess.

My advice buy the cheaper obne as some people say they are not for them.

Anything mains powered sold in or in to the EU needs to be CE certified. Hitachi have not done this so they are technically illegal anywhere in the EU.

If you want a genuine one then buy it off a reputable supplier via ebay or Amazon America ie .com

If you want a reputable clone then as mentioned, Lovehoney. In my experience they are not quite as powerful, effective as the real thing

CE marks are just a sticker, reputable sources will have checked the paperwork but all to easy for a copy to just add the sticker.

I've just bought the lovehoney one (inspired by this thread), the ebay one we have is great but I want one from a reputable company where we know it's safe- should last longer and be less likely to break too.

i have had the hitachi one and loved it,eventually wire connection came loose so i bought love honey deluxe one with the dial for variable speed..its v nearly as good as the hitachi and no need for a heavy adapter

We got our genuine Hitachi Wand from Erotica a few years ago, with the transformer...got a great deal on it, only about £40

It does dim the street lights when it's turned up full though
